Wouldn't eat here again. We ordered two combos, pulled pork and chicken sandwich. Beans were my side, and were inedible, not fully cooked. My son had mac and cheese and it was so bad he didn't eat it (and he's not a picky eater). He loves mac and cheese but I tried it and it made me gag. Oily and undercooked pasta. Meat was ok. It was $32 for two small lunch combos that we threw away. Armory in general has disappointing food but this was bad. We had to go elsewhere to get more food.
The Electronettes Drill team 80 members strong all ate here and enjoyed the brisket sandwiches, potatoe salad, and fresh coleslaw they were the best. The hospitality is very warm welcoming, it was truly the best ever !
Out of all the options in the food court, I’m so happy I chose Bigfood BBQ! Not only was the food delicious, the staff was amazing! Johnny was able to recommend options and was kind and patient. The portions were just right and the bbq was really tasty! If you are looking for something that will fill you up as you tour the area, I highly recommend Bigfood! It won’t disappoint and you’ll be full all day!
Mac and cheese exceeded expectations, great service, good meat and sauce, overall good experience.
Terrible!! Waste of money...left food on counter...never again..false advertisement..no smoke flavor..no rub..no applewood...looked like pull pork not brisket
Staff were very pleasant, but I threw most of the food away. Got the black bean burger, mac n cheese, and (surprise, mayo-based) cole slaw. Both of the sides were very bland, and the veggie burger was mediocre. Hot sauce didn't help (their vinegar sauce was not very spicy, no labels). Their menu was difficult to read and didn't mention that the veggie burger had cheese on it, and I didn't realize I was getting cole slaw. Would have been a one-star if not for the nice people behind the counter.
Coleslaw tastes like body odor smells. Couldn't eat it. Pulled pork wasn't terrible, but wasn't good at all either. Below average.
BBQ brisket sandwich is pretty good. They’re quick not much a wait. A little pricey for just a sandwich and chips.
Im from New Orleans. I know good food. I felt at home. Down home friendly good eating 😊
I ordered a pulled pork sandwich, corn bread, and the 3 cheese Mac n cheese. All of it was gross. Everything was very sour and bitter, specially the cole slaw and pork. Also the Mac n cheese just tasted like shells with butter on them. This is the first time I’ve ever reviewed a place because I was just shocked by how everything was gross.
Good good good
Paid $12 for a brisket sandwich and it was a very small portion. The sauce wasn't that good either. Suggest going to some other food vendor in the Space Needle Armory.
Gooder
Great Mac and cheese. BBQ chicken was decent. Coleslaw was sub-par. Service excellent
Good food. Brisket was cooked great. It is a little pricey, but you get what you pay for.
After reading some of the reviews- I can see how it rated average to lower average.Pretty pricey food for what you get.BBQ Brisket BeansCornbread
Awesome little spot in Seattle Center. Great pulled pork & friendly staff.
Delicious brisket plates.
The meat here is pretty good, but keep in mind this is a tourist area, so in order to stay here, they have to charge a premium. That means that although the meat is really good, you will more than likely get a smaller portion for tourist area price. Visit here to try Seattle's food, but don't visit if you are looking to eat and feel full.
service was great, friendly and fast. Pulled pork was ok. mac n chee was good. Only bummer was the BBQ Sauce had 0 flavor. it was weird. a very powdery texture with no spice or bite or anything. i had to add the spicy mustard just for something.
Decent food and nice service. The latter sometimes hard to get in the armory. Plus the seating area is pleasant and gives you break from the crowded feel.
Bland food all around. Brisket was very fatty. Ordered pulled pork and received big slices. Mac and cheese was bland, no cheese. Coleslaw was not edible. Chili had no flavor. Kid wouldn't even eat grilled cheese. Best thing was the root beer... Would NOT recommend.
Nice bbq, quick service. We stopped in for a quick bite to eat and to try Bigfood. Quick line and turn around to get food. Got the brisket sandwich combo with drink for $15.50. The brisket was very good!! Coleslaw was a nice added touch for the sandwich. Then we had the 3 cheese mac and cheese. I normally dont care for shell mac but this was really good. Topped with parmesan cheese and sprinkled with a touch of parsley.
The only people who take the time to review are people who feel like giving a place 1 star does them justice to their bad experience. The food here is great, some of the most authentic food in the armory building. The employees are all cool and friendly and the beer selection is above par. For the price too, you won't find BBQ this cheap anywhere close by.
Brisket is amazing
Too expensive no taste and food was cold not worth it waste my money
Crazy sexist environment. Someone I know worked there and was blatantly harassed multiple times, she was pressured to leave and the guy who did it kept his job.Messed up
Mac and cheese was italian style - pasta shells with kraft parmesan. The BBQ sauce was underwhelming. Good brisket though.
Just okay. The beef brisket was super fatty, more than any I’ve had at other places. The baked beans were weird and the cornbread was just okay. Prices were also high in my opinion. Probably wouldn’t go back.
The meat was very good. This is the best BBQ I have had north of Kansas City. It was tender and mild without the sauce, spicy and juicy with the sauce, and hot as blazes with the habinero sauce! The slaw was freshly made, and I enjoyed it but it is mayo based, so I know it’s not everyone’s favorite. I gave the Mac and cheese to my grandson and he gobbled it up so I didn’t get a taste.
Husband and I moved to Seattle years ago, we are both New Orleanians and this is definitely our preferred BBQ spot in town. The food is excellent, affordable and served with a smile. You cannot go wrong here, folks! ^_^
We were starving by the time we got to this place. By the time I sat down to eat half the food was gone so didn't feel like asking to warm up the food. I compare BBQ joints on their brisket: primarily. Ordered the most expensive thing, the brisket platter and the pulled pork sandwich, side of the brisket, and a side of the corn bread which cost me fifty bucks. First off the brisket look pretty good, smelled pretty good, but it was cold. Could taste the smoke but it was disappointing. The pulled pork sandwich was mushy, but it had a good flavor. Cole slaw was okay. Loved the cornbread...I would not eat there again.
Friendly service but mediocre food. Way over priced. Found a spot of blue mold on the sandwich bun. Not even remotely worth the nearly $20 I spent for one small plate of food.
Extremely dry and flavorless pulled pork and brisket. Clearly the worst I have ever tasted. Ran by teenagers frequently uttering the F-bomb in the back in audible range of 5 year old customers. Avoid this place and let it fade away quickly.
Super confused by negative reviews. I love cooking and eating quality bbq. This place is solid!
